about me
I chose my career in bodywork because I believe in the power of human touch. I spent 20 years taking care of the IT concerns for companies who I thought were making the world a better place to live. Over time I found myself managing the negative moods of the people I was helping. I realized how much stress people were enduring every day just because of their computers, not to mention all of the other stress-inducing situations people deal with in their lives.
I decided that I wanted to do more to help, and I was compelled by bodywork. I was inspired when I witnessed a former artist rehabilitated from a severe case of lupus through bodywork. Eventually, the artist was able to engage in art again after 5 years of confined to a completely sterile environment. Another moment of clarity appeared after I recovered from severe pain throughout my entire body after one session of bodywork. That is when I found my path.
